The attorney should have working knowledge of the Court Rules and Rules of Evidence. Must have experience in Labor / Employment Law. Experience in Defense Litigation is also preferred.
If you are selected, your job will require you to engage in the following tasks:
1. Draft pleadings, motions and briefs to be filed in State Court and Federal Court.
2. Appear in Federal and State Court to argue motions, participate in arbitrations, mediations, conferences and trials, if necessary.
2. Take depositions of parties, witnesses, medical experts and liability experts;
3. Be responsible for serving discovery and filing relevant motions.
4. Communicate directly with the clients to ensure that they are properly informed about the status of their cases.
5. Engage in investigations for allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination.
6. Provide Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination training to our public entity employees.
The candidate must be in good standing, licensed in the State of New Jersey with exceptional legal research and writing skills. Litigation experience is necessary.

We are a general litigation law firm located in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. We are looking to hire qualified Legal Secretaries/Paralegals. The candidate must have general civil litigation experience and familiarity with the Court Rules. The candidate must be able to perform the following tasks:
1. File pleadings on E-Courts and Pacer within the time prescribed by the Rules;
2. Propound Interrogatories, Document Production Requests, etc. upon adversaries;
3. Draft and serve discovery letters upon parties and witnesses;
4. Confirming and Calendaring appearances;
5. Scheduling Depositions, Mediations, etc.
6. Maintaining litigation files and other such related tasks;
* Hours are 9 - 5 Monday through Friday
* Remote working on Mondays & Friday
* In office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Florio, Kenny, Raval, L.L.P. is a full service law firm. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The duties of an Administrative Assistant will include searching the internet for bids, preparing form documents to respond to the bids and posting updates to the firm's social media pages.
Additionally, the Administrative Assistant duties include providing support to our lawyers and staff, confirming calendar appearances with the court and other attorneys, ordering supplies and maintaining our firm's case lists.
The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel, Word, Outlook and office equipment. If you have previous experience as a Secretary or Executive administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Prepare documents
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Create and Post on our law firm social media pages
• Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
• Develop and maintain a filing system
• Update and maintain office policies and procedures
• Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
• Maintain contact lists
• Provide general support to visitors
• Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
• Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
Skills:
• Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
