Robert Valane, Esq. joined Florio Kenny Raval, LLP as an Attorney in 2023 where he has practiced in the areas of Title 59 and other defense litigation, Civil Rights Litigation and Employment Law.

Mr. Valane is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, New York, California and the District of Columbia.  Prior to joining Florio Kenny Raval, LLP, Mr. Valane practiced primarily in the area of Immigration Law.  Fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese, Mr. Valane has successfully represented individuals in all aspects of Immigration Law, from removal defense in Immigration Court to business immigration and family-based petitions and applications before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.  Mr. Valane has also practiced in other areas of the law that frequently overlap with immigration issues, such as Municipal Law, Criminal Law, Landlord-Tenant Law and Family Law.  Mr. Valane is a dedicated and compassionate attorney who is always willing to go the extra mile for his clients.  

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Valane worked in the financial industry as a Series 7 and 63 licensed professional at various financial institutions, such as USAA in Phoenix, Arizona.  He earned his undergraduate degree at New York University’s Stern School of Business.  He thereafter received his Juris Doctor degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.  In 2022, Mr. Valane also passed his ACAMS exam and is currently a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
