Professional Experience

Niti G. Raval, Managing Partner, joined the law firm in 1997 where she began her legal career. She has practiced in the areas of personal injury litigation, Title 59 and other defense litigation, Civil Rights Litigation, Landlord/Tenant law, Employment law, and Worker’s Compensation law.

Ms. Raval is licensed to practice law in New Jersey. She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the State of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Hudson County Bar Association.  Ms. Raval was appointed by Governor James E. McGreevy to serve as a Commissioner on the New Jersey State Division of Civil Rights in November 2004 and she continues to be member of that Commission to date. She was thereafter elected by the members of the Commission to serve as Vice Chairwoman to the Commission during the 2006, 2007, and 2008 terms. In 2011, she was elected to the position of Chair of the New Jersey Division of Civil Rights. Not only was Ms. Raval the first Indian-American woman to serve as Commissioner on the New Jersey Division of Civil rights, but she was also the first Indian-American woman to serve as Vice Chair and Chair.

In January of 2006, Ms. Raval was appointed by Acting Governor, Richard Codey, to serve as a public member on the Acupuncture Examining Board for the State of New Jersey. She made history again as she was the first Indian-American woman to sit as a public member on that State board. In 2006, she served on the Hudson County Bar Association Memorial Committee. In 2007, she was appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to serve on the District Ethics Committee for District VI, Hudson County. Mrs. Raval is conversational in the East Indian dialect of Gujarati.

Niti G. Raval received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and English from Seton Hall University in 1992. She thereafter obtained her Certification in Paralegal Studies from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She received her Jurist Doctor degree from Seton Hall University, School of Law in June of 1996.
